Este trabajo de investigación, presenta el concepto, finalidad, usos, herramientas y pertinencia que le asigna el Centro Agropecuario La Granja de Espinal-Tolima, a la evaluación educativa en el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa a través de la lecto escritura. Por lo tanto, se interpreta y analiza la documentación base del currículo del SENA, las concepciones de evaluación de los instructores de Lecto- escritura de la institución en mención y los fundamentos teóricos de evaluación educativa, con el objetivo de establecer en qué medida el sistema de evaluación del SENA es coherente con las practicas evaluativas de los instructores. El enfoque de la investigación es el cualitativo, se considera de carácter descriptiva-exploratorio, la cual permite identificar las concepciones y enfoques dados a las prácticas evaluativas de algunos integrantes de la comunidad SENA. Para esto se genera un referente en evaluación y se diseña un instrumento que posibilita identificar la situación actual en evaluación educativa del centro Agropecuario La Granja, identificando aquellos elementos en los que la institución se encuentra fortalecida y aquellos otros en los que necesita mejora.

This research paper presents the concept, purpose, uses, tools and relevance assigned to it by the La Granja de Espinal-Tolima Agricultural Center, to the educational evaluation in the development of communicative competence through reading writing. Therefore, the basic documentation of the SENA curriculum, the evaluation conceptions of the reading and writing instructors of the institution in question and the theoretical foundations of educational evaluation are interpreted and analyzed, with the objective of establishing to what extent the system SENA's evaluation is consistent with the evaluative practices of the instructors. The research approach is qualitative; it is considered descriptive-exploratory, which allows identifying the conceptions and approaches given to the evaluation practices of some members of the SENA community. For this, a benchmark in evaluation is generated and an instrument is designed that identifies the current situation in educational evaluation of the La Granja Agricultural Center, identifying those elements in which the institution is strengthened and those in which it needs improvement.
