Sobre la problemática del consumo de sustancias Psicoactivas en estudiantes de los diferentes niveles de educación secundaria hay muchos investigaciones, que en su mayoría han recurrido a estudios de tipo cuantitativo, identificando el porcentaje de jóvenes que han iniciado esta actividad y en reconocer las sustancias de mayor uso; aunque esto es un aspecto importante en el momento de querer proponer planes de intervención, la perspectiva de este trabajo es recoger los imaginarios de las y los jóvenes de grado séptimo de la Institución Educativa Santa Ana frente a dicha situación, como aspecto de gran importancia y punto de partida en el momento de querer elaborar y llevar a cabo una propuesta de prevención, puesto que estas acciones generalmente se realizan, sin tener en cuenta la forma de ver y sentir la realidad del joven, quien es el que va a ser intervenido. Metodológicamente es un estudio con un enfoque cualitativo de tipo hermenéutico ya que busca comprender los imaginarios. Participan 18 estudiantes que responden un primer cuestionario; luego se eligen 7 de ellos que responden un segundo cuestionario y con quienes se realiza una sesión como grupo focal, durante la cual se toma nota en fichas de observación. Para el análisis de los resultados se diseñan tablas con categorías establecidas previamente o que emergen a partir de la información obtenida. Entre los imaginarios de las y los jóvenes se encuentra que tienen claridad en que el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas es dañino, que pueden provocar alucinaciones y adicción. Sin embargo, en algunos aspectos no tienen conocimientos claros en torno a conceptos; su reacción frente al ofrecimiento de sustancias ilegales es de rechazo aunque sienten curiosidad; respecto al alcohol la reacción es de aceptación, pues su consumo es común en el entorno que los rodea.

Of the problematic of the consumption of psychoactive substances among students of different levels of secondary education exists many investigations, which in their majority have resorted to quantitative studies, identifying the percentage of young people who have initiated this activity and to recognize the substances of greater use ; although this is an important aspect, in the moment of wanting to propose plans for intervention, the perspective this work is to gather the imaginaries of young people of seventh grade of Santa Ana institution as an aspect of great importance and starting point at the time of carry out a proposal for prevention, since these actions are usually performed without taking into account the way to see and feel the reality of the young who is involved. Methodologically is a study with a qualitative approach of hermeneutical type that seeks to understand the imaginaries. Eighteen students participate who answer a first questionnaire; then are chosen seven of them who answer a second questionnaire and with whom is realized a session as focal group, during which is taken note in observation card. For the analysis of the results, tables are designed with categories previously established or emerging from the information obtained. In the results obtained are found that in the imaginary of young people, the consumption of psychoactive substances is seen as harmful and may cause hallucinations and addiction. However, in some aspects they do not have clear understanding of the concepts involved; their reaction according to the offering of illegal substances is of rejection though they feel curious; regard to alcohol the reaction is of acceptance, because its consumption is common in the environment around them.
