El presente trabajo de investigación “Secuencia didáctica para el desarrollo de la compresión lectora de textos narrativos a través de una herramienta virtual en los estudiantes sordos de la jornada nocturna de la Institución Educativa Simón Bolívar de la ciudad de Ibagué” se realizó con el fin de diseñar una secuencia didáctica aplicada en las TIC que fomente la comprensión lectora de textos narrativos en los estudiantes sordos. Lo anterior teniendo en cuenta que una de las mayores dificultades en la enseñanza de la lectura en los estudiantes sordos son las barreras que hay para acceder a las diferentes lecturas. Igualmente para el desarrollo de esta investigación se tomó como muestra a los estudiantes sordos de la jornada nocturna de la institución y su diseño metodológico se encaminó hacia un enfoque cualitativo, teniendo en cuanta las características del objeto de estudio, para el análisis de los datos se realizó una sistematización que permitió la descripción detallada de sus resultados. Igualmente, el diseño metodológico de la investigación se fundamentó en tres fases procedimentales, una primera fase en la que se desarrolló la justificación, el problema de investigación y los objetivos, una segunda fase destinada al rastreo bibliográfico y organización de los antecedentes y a la elaboración del marco teórico y una última fase metodológica en donde teniendo en cuenta los resultados se diseñó la secuencia didáctica aplicada en una herramienta tecnológica para la comprensión lectora de textos narrativos en los estudiantes sordos.

The present work of investigation " didactic Sequence for the development of the reading compression of narrative texts across a virtual tool in the deaf students of the night day of the Educational Institution Simón Bolívar of Ibague’s city " was realized in order to design a didactic sequence applied in the TIC that promotes the reading comprehension of narrative texts in the deaf students. The previous thing bearing in mind that one of the major difficulties in the education of the reading in the deaf students are the barriers that exist to accede to the different readings. Equally for the development of this investigation one took as a sample the deaf students of the night day of the institution and his methodological design intended towards a qualitative approach, having in all the characteristics of the object of study, for the analysis of the information there was realized a systematizing that allowed the detailed description of his results. Equally, the methodological design of the investigation was based on three procedural phases, the first phase on the one that developed the justification, the problem of investigation and the aims, the second phase destined for the bibliographical tracking and organization of the precedents and to the production of the theoretical frame and a last methodological phase where bearing the results in mind there was designed the didactic sequence applied in a technological tool for the reading comprehension of narrative texts in the deaf students.
