La investigación “Proceso De Inclusión de Estudiantes con Discapacidad Cognitiva” pretende enfatizar en la importancia del respeto a la diversidad de características y necesidades que presentan los estudiantes con discapacidad cognitiva dentro de las aulas regulares, porque el proceso de inclusión no se agota con la llegada del estudiante a la institución, por el contrario es allí donde realmente el proceso inicia, y es la escuela la que debe hacer todos los esfuerzos por proporcionar un ambiente que les favorezca en todo sentido, realizar cambios y hacer adaptaciones para que su proceso educativo tenga las mismas condiciones y nivel de calidad que el de los demás estudiantes. Se espera entonces, que la investigación sea un instrumento de ayuda para aclarar dudas al respecto de la inclusión de estudiantes con discapacidad cognitiva, proceso sobre el cual hay muchos aspectos por conocer al interior de los establecimientos educativos, así como sea un protocolo útil para mejorar las condiciones educativas de los estudiantes.

ABSTRACT. The investigation “Process Of Inclusion Of Students With Cognitive Disabililties” is intended to emphasize in the importance of respect for the diversity of characteristics and needs that the students with cognitive disabilities present inside the regular classrooms, because the inclusion process does not end when the student arrive to the school, on the contrary it is there where the process really begins, and it is the school the one that should make all the efforts to provide an environment that favors them in every way, to carry out changes and to make adaptations so that their educational process has the same conditions and the quality level of the other students. It is expected then that this research is an instrument to help to clarify doubts about the inclusion of students with cognitive disabilities, a process on which there are many aspects to know within the educational establishments, as well as it is a useful protocol to improve the educational conditions for students.
