El trabajo parte de la aclaración sobre el concepto de espacio, más que una definición totalizadora se pretende un acercamiento a su comprensión como producto de la sociedad, lo que permite hacer una conexión con el territorio como espacio significado. Seguidamente, bajo la pretensión de movimiento que no es más que el devenir de las relaciones entre individuos y grupos, y entre estos y su entorno, la territorialidad se presenta como la mediación entre éstas relaciones que va a dar forma al espacio y el territorio desde marcas únicas y diferenciales. Luego se transita a los conceptos de ciudad y urbano, la primera referida a la materialidad en relación con el espacio y el segundo con las relaciones sociales y el territorio. La ciudad se entiende como el resultado de la transformación del espacio por las relaciones sociales, en donde los objetos más que su materialidad representan el significado que la sociedad les otorga haciendo de la ciudad su territorio. Ésta significación no es otra cosa que lo urbano en su complejidad, lo que hace a la ciudad su territorio por excelencia. Lo urbano caracterizado por la movilidad de las relaciones sociales conlleva a que el territorio no se limite a un espacio concreto, sino un espacio que se practica y apropia mediante la territorialidad, por lo tanto, la territorialidad urbana no es otra cosa que la forma en que se erige la significación del espacio y se construye territorio permanentemente, permitiendo entender lo urbano en sus múltiples facetas y áreas de expresión, en espacios y territorios múltiples y diferenciales. Entonces lo urbano adquiere un nivel de complejidad mucho mayor en el momento que trasciende la ciudad misma, una realidad que ha planteado la discusión de cómo abordar y comprender las dinámicas territoriales contemporáneas. En este caso, las dicotomías ciudad-urbano y campo-rural entran en cuestión mediante nociones como suburbanización, periurbanización, conurbación, periferias o espacios rurbanos, y como término actual el de borde urbano: cuyo interés busca describir las dinámicas del territorio que se presentan a partir de los encuentros que ponen en duda dichas dicotomías. Sin embargo, un término susceptible de error, pues reduce la complejidad de lo urbano a dicotomías preestablecidas, hecho que lleva a plantear de manera diferente su entendimiento en una apuesta por descifrar la complejidad de la dinámica urbana y sus impactos en el territorio, para los que la noción contemporánea de borde urbano es ineficiente. Finalmente aquel vuelco que se le da a la noción contemporánea de borde urbano, transita a un ejercicio práctico siendo Honda Tolima el espacio seleccionado para ser evidenciado, mediante el rastreo y reconstrucción de dinámicas históricas, poblacionales, habitacionales y de movilidad, que permiten exponer la pretensión de borde urbano para esta investigación y su utilidad teórico-práctica respecto a las dinámicas urbanas hoy con la necesidad de ser comprendidas.

The work leaves of the explanation on the space concept, live than to totalizing definition is sought an approach to its understanding like product of the society, what allows to make to connection with the territory like meant space. Subsequently, under the movement pretense that is not lives than becoming of the relationships between individuals and groups, and between these and their environment, the territorialidad shows up ace the mediation among these relationships that there am / she will give form to the space and the territory from unique and differential marks. Then it is trafficked to the city concepts and urban, the first referred to the materiality in connection with the space and the second with the social relationships and the territory. The city understands each other as the result of the transformation of the space for the social relationships where the objects more than its materiality represents the meaning that the society grants them making of the city its territory. This significance is not another thing that the urban thing in its complexity, that par excellence makes to the city its territory. The urban thing characterized by the mobility of the social relationships bears to that the territory is not limited to a concrete space, but a space that is practiced and it adapts by means of the territorialidad, therefore, the urban territorialidad is not another thing that the form in that the significance of the space is erected and territory is built permanently, allowing to understand the urban thing in its multiple facets and expression areas, in spaces and multiple and deferential territories. Then the urban thing acquires a level of much more complexity in the moment that the same city, a reality that has outlined the discussion transcends of how to approach and to understand the territorial contemporary dynamics. In this case, the city-urban and fieldrural dichotomies enter in question mediating notions like suburbanización, periurbanización, conurbation, peripheries or spaces rurbanos, and I eat current term that of urban border: whose interest looks for to describe the dynamics of the territory that show up starting from the encounters that question this dichotomies. However, a susceptible term of error, because it reduces the complexity from the urban thing to preset dichotomies, fact that takes to outline in a different way their understanding in a bet to decipher the complexity of the urban dynamics and their impacts in the territory, for those that the contemporary notion of urban border is inefficient. Finally that overturn that is given to the contemporary notion of urban border, traffics to a practical exercise being Deep Tolima the space selected to be evidenced, by means of the I rake and reconstruction of dynamic historical, populational, residence and of mobility that you/they allow to expose the pretense of urban border for this investigation and its utility theoretical-practice regarding the dynamics urban today with the necessity of being understood.
