El presente trabajo se elaboró para optar al Título de Licenciadas en Educación Fisca, Recreación y Deportes en la Universidad del Tolima. Es una historia que empieza en el estadio Manuel Murillo Toro ubicado en la cuidad de Ibagué, Tolima. Lugar donde los Clubes y la Liga de atletismo del Tolima se reunían para realizar sus entrenamientos con el propósito de ser los mejores atletas de Colombia. A principios del año 2013, llegaron dos mellizas a este escenario deportivo con la ilusión de empezar un proceso de formación. Con 11 años de edad, las hermanas Karen y Tatiana Bedoya López empiezan el reto más grande de sus vidas. Un proceso encaminado hacia el deporte competitivo y de rendimiento que se ha configurado a partir de varios años de entrenamiento, que en los cuales se ha logrado clasificación a campeonatos Nacionales e Internacionales, los Suramericanos, finalista en los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud, Buenos Aires 2018 y Medallista en los Juegos Panamericanos Junior, Cali 2021. De manera simultánea, la continuación de la formación académica en educación superior. Lo anterior configura un escenario en el que se vislumbra, por un lado, unos actores y por otro un contexto que permite identificar la siguiente pregunta relacionada con el desempeño y resultados como deportistas, pero también con la familia con entrenadores y la ciudad como es: ¿Qué tipo de acontecimientos han configurado las experiencias de las estudiantes y deportistas Karen y Tatiana Bedoya Lopez? En la presente investigación se aborda temáticas relacionadas con la Licenciatura en Educación Física Recreación y Deportes de la Universidad del Tolima en lo concerniente a deportistas, alumnos de élite, posteriormente, se observan aspectos históricos generales del Atletismo en Colombia, de la Liga de Atletismo del Tolima y de la modalidad de salto con pértiga. Seguidamente construimos un escenario en donde la familia de las autoras-deportistas y sus profesores son los actores principales. Todo lo anterior sin descuidar aspectos relacionados con el contexto, con la ciudad y con los escenarios propios de la práctica del atletismo en el Tolima. Las competencias, los logros, los desplazamientos a nivel local nacional e internacional queda aquí registrados. La metodología empleada fue la metodología etnográfica que estará caracterizada por el trabajo de campo en el cual debe jugar un papel muy destacado la interpretación de los significados, el análisis de la estructura social y de los roles en la comunidad estudiada, en este caso examinar las interacciones sociales de las mellizas. Finalmente condensar en las conclusiones la visión que como investigadoras y protagonistas de las experiencias y resultados en un medio complejo y difícil para estudiantes y deportistas.

The present work was elaborated to opt for the Degree of Graduates in Fiscal Education, Recreation and Sports at the University of Tolima. It is a story that begins in the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium located in the city of Ibague, Tolima. Place where the Clubs and the Tolima Athletics League met to carry out their training with the purpose of being the best athletes in Colombia. At the beginning of 2013, two twins arrived at this sports venue with the hope of starting a training process. At 11 years old, sisters Karen and Tatiana Bedoya López begin the biggest challenge of their lives. A process aimed at competitive and performance sport that has been configured from several years of training, in which classification has been achieved in National and International championships, the South Americans, finalist in the Youth Olympic Games and Medalist in the Junior Pan American Games. Simultaneously, the continuation of academic training in higher education. The foregoing configures a scenario in which, on the one hand, some actors can be glimpsed and, on the other, a context that allows us to identify the following question related to performance and results as athletes, but also with the family with coaches and the city as it is: What kind of events have shaped the experiences of actors and subjects around the Bedoya twins? In the present investigation, topics related to the Degree in Physical Education, Recreation and Sports of the University of Tolima are addressed with regard to athletes, elite students, later, general historical aspects of Athletics in Colombia, of the Athletics League of the Tolima and the modality of pole vaulting. Next we build a scenario where the family of the sports-authors and their teachers are the main actors. All of the above without neglecting aspects related to the context, with the city and with the scenarios typical of the practice of athletics in Tolima. The competitions, the achievements, the displacements at a local, national and international level will be registered here. The methodology used was the ethnographic methodology that will be characterized by field work in which the interpretation of meanings, the analysis of the social structure and the roles in the studied community must play a very prominent role, in this case examining the social interactions of the twins. To finally condense in the conclusions the vision that as researchers and protagonists of the experiences and results in a complex and difficult environment for students and athletes.
