dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto de investigación se presenta como una alternativa pedagógica para aportar a la convivencia a partir de la dimensión participación social relacionada con el manejo emocional en la comunidad educativa rural de la Institución Educativa Fernando Villalobos Arango. Utilizando un enfoque cualitativo, se aplicó una matriz de sistematización y análisis del PEI, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y grupos focales con directivos, docentes, estudiantes y padres de familia. Los resultados evidencian que una mayor participación de la comunidad educativa fortalece el manejo emocional y el sentido de pertenencia de los integrantes de esta institución rural. Se identificaron estrategias para fomentar la colaboración entre la escuela y la comunidad, como la implementación de proyectos conjuntos y la creación de espacios de diálogo que fortalezcan la participación social y contribuyan a la calidad de vida en el entorno rural. Esta investigación formativa subraya la importancia de la participación social como un componente esencial para la inclusión y el desarrollo integral en el contexto educativo rural. Al fomentar la colaboración activa de todos los miembros de la institución, se crean oportunidades para un buen manejo de habilidades socioemocionales, fortalecer la convivencia ,el sentido de pertenencia y promover una ciudadanía activa y responsable. La investigación destaca la necesidad de estrategias efectivas para el manejo de emociones a partir de la organización de eventos extracurriculares, la implementación de campañas de sensibilización y el desarrollo de proyectos pedagógicos que involucren a estudiantes, docentes, padres y otros actores de la comunidad educativa rural. Estos enfoques no solo mejoran el manejo emocional, sino que también contribuyen a la transformación social y a la construcción de una comunidad educativa más participativa y democrática.	spa
dc.description.abstract	This research project analyzes how the social participation dimension can promote emotional management in the rural educational community of the Fernando Villalobos Arango Educational Institution. Using a qualitative approach, a systematization and analysis matrix of the PEI was applied, and semi-structured interviews and focus groups were conducted with administrators, teachers, students, and parents. The results show that increased participation of the educational community strengthens emotional management and the sense of belonging among the members of this rural institution. Strategies were identified to foster collaboration between the school and the community, such as implementing joint projects and creating dialogue spaces that enhance social participation and contribute to quality of life in the rural environment. This formative research emphasizes the importance of social participation as an essential component for inclusion and integral development in the rural educational context. By fostering active collaboration among all members of the institution, opportunities are created for effective socio-emotional skills management, strengthening the sense of belonging, and promoting active and responsible citizenship. The research highlights the need for effective strategies for emotional management through the organization of extracurricular events, the implementation of awareness campaigns, and the development of pedagogical projects involving students, teachers, parents, and other actors of the rural educational community. These approaches not only improve emotional management but also contribute to social transformation and the construction of a more participatory and democratic educational community.
