dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación corresponde a una propuesta realizada durante los estudios de Maestría en Educación de la Universidad del Tolima. Por medio del desarrollo de este proyecto se busca ampliar la reflexión sobre las concepciones de ambiente en estudiantes de Educación Media de una Institución Educativa del municipio de Ibagué. Enmarcada desde una metodología cualitativa con enfoque descriptivo - comprensivo, pretende reconocer las concepciones de ambiente a partir de las categorías planteadas por María Luisa Eschenhagen (2010); entendiéndolo como: a) objeto, b) sistema, c) complejidad. A partir de la aplicación de instrumentos como el cuestionario, el estudio de las representaciones gráficas del ambiente y el análisis de problemas ambientales, se realizó la caracterización de las concepciones de ambiente y se pudo dilucidar la forma en la que piensan se deben abordar las problemáticas ambientales. Entre los resultados alcanzados, se pudo determinar que los estudiantes conciben el ambiente como `objeto´, el cual es definido como el entorno, todo lo que nos rodea como agua, fauna, flora y se debe proteger por encima de todo, en este ambiente no está presente el ser humano, pero sí las transformaciones o invenciones que son útiles en la vida cotidiana como casas, carros, carreteras, minimizando el impacto que la sociedad genera al no abarcar los diferentes problemas ambientales en su visión de ambiente. Estos resultados muestran que para los estudiantes, hay que recurrir a la ley y el castigo para que las personas puedan pagar por sus actos cuando cometan acciones en contra del ambiente, sugieren la contaminación, las basuras, quema y deforestación como los problemas más importantes y las principales estrategias que proponen como alternativas de solución son medidas normativas –multas- y educativas –charlas, talleres, presentación de videos y el proyecto de reciclaje.	spa
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT This research corresponds to a proposal made during the Masters in Education at the Universidad del Tolima. Through the development of this project seeks to broaden reflection on the conceptions of environment in Media Education students an educational institution of Ibague. Framed from a qualitative methodology with descriptive approach - understanding aims to recognize the concepts of environment from the categories described by Maria Luisa Eschenhagen (2010); understood as: a) object, b) system, c) complexity. Since the application of instruments such as the questionnaire, the study of graphic representations of the environment and analysis of environmental issues, the characterization of the concepts of environment was performed and could elucidate how they think should address issues environmental. Among other achievements, it was determined that the students conceive the environment as ` object', which is defined as the environment, everything around us like water, wildlife, flora and must be protected above all, in this environment the human being is not present, but the changes or inventions that are useful in everyday life such as houses, cars, roads, minimizing the impact that society generates by not cover the different environmental problems in their vision of environment. These results show that for students, we must use the law and punishment for people to pay for their actions when they commit acts against the environment, suggest pollution, waste, burning and deforestation as the main problems and propose alternatives of the main strategies solution are regulatory measures: educational fines, talks, workshops, video presentations and recycling project.	spa
