| dc.description.abstract | La investigación presentada a continuación tuvo como fin analizar la relación entre la música y la identidad de los ciudadanos ibaguereños, relación en la que intervienen diferentes factores como, la memoria histórica, el territorio, los imaginarios y la cultura, haciendo énfasis en la configuración de la música como eje de identidad de la población ibaguereña. Se plantea también el interrogante acerca de si hay una conexión entre el sentir musical, el talento de los músicos admirado internacionalmente, con el territorio, la ciudad; regresando a las historias de los libros que delinearon las primeras motivaciones para llamar a Ibagué como una ciudad musical, las razones por las que se ganó este título y el arraigo que tiene en la memoria histórica, de igual manera, la desconexión con el presente, el desinterés de algunos ciudadanos, el olvido de muchos por la música y la cultura, para finalmente resaltar la lucha de muchos músicos y no músicos por salvaguardar ese título y demostrar que sin importar el tiempo y los cambios de las épocas Ibagué es Ciudad Musical. Todo lo aquí recogido dará como resultado un video documental llamado “La ciudad de las músicas” el cual busca reflejar a través de cuatro personajes, músicos, investigadores, estudiantes y escritores la importancia de reconocer la música como una herramienta identitaria de la ciudad, haciendo énfasis en la historia de ella en este territorio, los cambios y retos que ha tenido a través del tiempo y los nuevos proyectos y metas que ha desarrollado la música en la capital del departamento del Tolima. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | The research presented below was aimed at analyzing the relationship between music and the identity of the citizens of the province of Ibague, a relationship in which different factors interven, such as historical memory, territory, imaginaries and culture, emphasizing the configuration of music as an axis of identity of the population of the province. With the above, the question is also raised about whether there is a connection between musical feeling, the talent of musicians admired internationally, with the territory, the city; returning to the stories of the books that delineated the first motivations to call Ibague a musical city, the reasons why this title was won and the roots it has in the historical memory, but in the same way, the disconnection with the present , the disinterest of some citizens, the oblivion of many for music and culture, to finally highlight the struggle of many musicians and non-musicians to safeguard that title and show that regardless of the time and the changes of the Ibagué “Musical City.
