dc.description.abstract	Esta tesis presenta un estado del arte sobre las investigaciones, los teóricos y las representaciones sociales que tienen los docentes del proceso inicial de lectura. Sus objetivos son indagar los problemas del proceso inicial de lectura más investigados, elaborar un marco referencial de teóricos que hayan abordado el problema de la lectura, identificar las representaciones sociales que tienen algunos maestros de educación básica primaria de la ciudad de Ibagué sobre la lectura y establecer relaciones entre lo que plantean los teóricos acerca de la lectura y las representaciones que tienen algunos docentes de Ibagué sobre esta. Los documentos hallados — investigaciones y teorías—fueron examinados y analizados fundamentalmente a partir de los resultados de las investigaciones en el proceso inicial de lectura y las representaciones de los teóricos desde un enfoque social de la lectura. Los resultados del trabajo indican que, en general, la tendencia investigativa más marcada en el proceso inicial de lectura es el estudio fonológico aunque el posicionamiento teórico afirma que se debe dar relevancia a la construcción del sentido y no a la fragmentación. Las representaciones sociales recolectadas a través de una encuesta a docentes de básica primaria arrojaron que existe una estrecha relación entre el concepto, las metáforas y las prácticas pedagógicas de los docentes en cuanto al proceso inicial de lectura.	spa
dc.description.abstract	This thesis present a state of the art about the representations of theoretical, researches and teachers from the initial process of reading. Its objectives are to enguiry the problems with the initial process of reading more researched, elaborate theoretical frame of reference what have addressed the problem of reading, identify the social representations that have some teachers of basic primary education of the Ibague city on reading and establish relations between theorists posed about reading and representations that have some teachers from Ibague about its. Documents found- research and theories were examined and analysed basically from the results of investigations in initial process of reading and the theoretical representations from a social approach to the reading. The results of the job indicate that in general, the more market in the initial process of the reading is the phonological study although the theoretical positions states that one should give importance to the construction of meaning and not to the fragmentation. Social representations collected through a survey of elementary school teachers showed that there is a close relationship between the concept, the methaphors and pedagogical practices of teachers in terms of the initial reading process.
