dc.description.abstractLa aplicación de distintas pruebas o evaluaciones externas de las instituciones educativas colombianas han arrojado resultados meramente de tipo cognitivo. De esta manera, el análisis e interpretación a dichos resultados han sido muy superficiales, la mayoría de ocasiones, estableciéndose posturas entre la calidad educativa entre escuelas públicas y privadas, rurales y urbanas, entre otras, sin hacer reflexiones pertinentes sobre contexto social en el cual está inmerso el estudiante. A partir de lo anterior, se realiza un estudio para determinar factores que inciden en el desempeño académico en el área de matemáticas en el sector rural colombiano, en estudiantes de grado quinto.spa
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The application of different races or external evaluations of the Colombian educational institutions have yielded results merely cognitive type. In this way, the analysis and interpretation of the results have been very superficial, most cases, settling positions between the quality of education between rural and urban, public and private schools including, without making relevant reflections on social context in which the student is immersed. From the above, a study is conducted to determine factors affecting the academic performance in the area of mathematics in the rural sector of Colombia, in fifth-grade students.spa
