| dc.description.abstract | La presente monografía analizo el ecoturismo como un elemento transformador de realidades y dinámicas sociales, económicas y ambientales en el municipio de Murillo, Tolima, a partir del año 2000. En lo temporal, se abordaron las dos primeras décadas del siglo XXI en las que se observó el auge del turismo como una actividad que permeó vigorosamente el territorio Murillense empezando a destacar como actividad socioeconómica relevante, generando y/o estimulando nuevas actividades turísticas en el municipio. El turismo como fenómeno social tiene un carácter temporal y territorial, lo que implica una relación directa e indirecta con un sinfín de actores que interactúan e indiscutiblemente crean transformaciones complejas en el territorio. Por ello, la presente investigación cruzó las fronteras del presente mediante un análisis prospectivo y se sitúo en unos posibles escenarios para el municipio en lo que refiere al ecoturismo y la sustentabilidad ambiental en el futuro. La investigación sirvió para comprender diferentes dinámicas y transformaciones que se han gestado y que pueden emerger a partir del ecoturismo, teniendo en cuenta todo el territorio Murillense, lo que implico actualizar y precisar información del municipio. La monografía en sus diferentes capítulos enfatiza en diferentes problemas y cuestiones relacionadas con el ecoturismo, en su esencia, comportamiento e impactos actuales y previsibles, con respecto a una postura que se inclina por asumirlo como una actividad sustentable y básicamente ofertado y operado por las propias comunidades locales. El documento, producto de la investigación, está orientado no solo a la población en general, dada la información que sobre la realidad municipal ofrece sino a la administración municipal, que puede encontrar en él elementos pertinentes a la definición de una política pública para la regulación y la sustentabilidad de esta innegable realidad dentro de las dinámicas socioeconómicas locales. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This monograph analyzes the topic of ecotourism as a factor that in different ways has been determinant for the dynamization of diverse social, political, economic and environmental realities in the municipality of Murillo, Tolima. In time, the first two decades of the 21st century will be addressed, in which the tourism boom has been observed as an activity that has vigorously permeated the Murillo territory and is beginning to stand out as a relevant socioeconomic activity, generating and/or stimulating new activities in the locality. Tourism as a social phenomenon has a temporal and territorial character, which implies a direct and indirect relationship with a myriad of actors that interact and undoubtedly create complex transformations in the territory. Therefore, this research crosses the boundaries of the present through a prospective analysis and is situated in some possible scenarios for the municipality in terms of ecotourism and the environment in the future. The research will serve to understand different dynamics and transformations that have emerged and may emerge from ecotourism, taking into account the entire Murillo territory, which implies updating and clarifying information about the municipality. The monograph in its different chapters emphasizes different problems and issues related to ecotourism, in its essence, behavior and current and foreseeable impacts, with respect to a position that is inclined to assume it as a sustainable activity and basically offered and operated by the local communities themselves. The document, product of the research, is oriented not only to the population in general, given the information it offers on the municipal reality, but also to the municipal administration, which can find in it pertinent elements for the definition of a public policy for the regulation and sustainability of this undeniable reality within the local socioeconomic dynamics. | spa |
