dc.description.abstract	La condición física y las variables antropométricas son importantes indicadores de salud para los escolares y la prevención de futuras enfermedades. Objetivo. Determinar el nivel de asociación entre la condición física y antropométrica de los estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Ciudad Eben-Ezer de Fusagasugá durante el año lectivo 2020, mediante la aplicación de test físicos y protocolos antropométricos. Metodología: estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal, participaron 208 estudiantes, 50% género femenino, con edades comprendidas entre 10 años a 17 años (M=13,45; DE = 1,67), de los grados 6 a 11 matriculados durante el año 2020; se evaluaron variables antropométricas: estatura, peso, IMC, % graso, y variables de condición física: potencia de piernas, velocidad de reacción, flexibilidad y potencia aeróbica. Resultados: La edad y las variable peso, IMC y el % graso con promedio superior para el género femenino, solo la talla con promedio superior para el género masculino; para las variables de condición física el promedio es mayor en los escolares de género femenino en la prueba de Wells (M = 4,37 cms; DE= 8,58) y para los escolares de género masculino el promedio y el desempeño fue superior en Galton (M= 16,29 cm; DE= 8,01); test de Léger (M= 5,67 min; DE= 2,52) y la prueba de salto (M= 1,57 cm; DE= 0,38). Para el análisis de correlación para el género femenino se obtuvo un nivel de significancia p<0,01 entre la variable edad y todas las variables antropométricas e igualmente entre ellas con el mismo valor. Se obtuvo un nivel de significancia p<0,05 entre la variable edad y la prueba de Léger, entre la talla con la prueba Léger y el %Graso con la prueba Galton y entre las pruebas de Wells y salto y la correlación bivariado, para el análisis para el género masculino p=0,01 entre todas las variables antropométricas y entre las pruebas de Léger y salto. Conclusiones: Las variables antropométricas y de condición física presentan diferencias en resultados y desempeños en función al género y se modifican en curso de la edad, referentes importantes para diferenciar las intervenciones de los escolares. dc.description.abstract	Physical condition and anthropometric variables are important health indicators for schoolchildren and the prevention of future diseases. Objective. Determine the level of association between the physical and anthropometric condition of the students of the Educational Institution Ciudad Eben-Ezer de Fusagasugá during the 2020 school year, through the application of physical tests and anthropometric protocols. Methodology: study with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, 208 students participated, 50% female gender, aged between 10 years to 17 years (M = 13.45; SD = 1.67), of the grades 6 to 11 enrolled during the year 2020; Anthropometric variables were evaluated: height, weight, BMI, % fat, and physical condition variables: leg power, reaction speed, flexibility, and aerobic power. Results: Age and the variables weight, BMI and% fat with a higher average for the female gender, only the height with a higher average for the male gender; for the physical condition variables the average is higher in female schoolchildren in the Wells test (M = 4.37 cm; SD = 8.58) and for male schoolchildren the average and performance was higher in Galton (M = 16.29 cm, SD = 8.01); Léger test (M = 5.67 min; SD = 2.52) and the jump test (M = 1.57 cm; SD = 0.38). For the correlation analysis for the female gender, a level of significance was obtained p <0.01 between the age variable and all the anthropometric variables and between them with the same value. A significance level p <0.05 was obtained between the age variable and the Léger test, between height with the Léger test and% Fat with the Galton test, and between the Wells and jump tests and the bivariate correlation, for the analysis for the male gender p = 0.01 among all the anthropometric variables and between the Léger and jump tests. Conclusions: The anthropometric and physical condition variables show differences in results and performances according to gender and are modified during age, important references to differentiate the interventions of schoolchildren.
