| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto consiste en la creación de un modelo arquitectónico novedoso; un prototipo de unidades mentales modernas. Es un diseño que deja atrás la concepción de que un centro psiquiátrico es una cárcel, donde no existen principios de humanidad, ni conexión con el exterior. Las unidades de salud mental en Ibagué no están muy lejos de este principio; cada una de ellas disponen de espacios muy reducidos que han llevado a la adecuación de sus infraestructuras de manera inadecuada. De este modo, se parte de que el espacio construido manifiesta intenciones, significados y recuerdos que aportan al paciente una experiencia más plena y confortable en el proceso de su recuperación y tratamiento. La relación que existe entre el paciente y su entorno es la pauta del proceso creativo teniendo como referencia las teorías del espacio curativo y en cómo influye esto en la psicología y percepción del hombre. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | The project is about the creation of a new architectural model; a prototype of modern mental units. It is a design that leaves behind the theory of a psychiatric center as a prison, a place where doesn’t exist any kind of human quality and neither any connection with the outside. The mental health units in Ibagué are not far from this fact; all of them are made up of very small spaces because of the wrong adequacy of their infrastructure. In this way, the following design is based on the fact that a constructed space represents intentions, meanings and memories that give a fuller and more comfortable experiences to the patient at the recovery and treatment process. The relationship that exists between the patient and his environment is the guideline of the creative process having as a reference the theories of the healing space and the way these statements influences the psychology and perception of humanity. | spa |
