dc.description.abstract	Esta monografía propone algunas reflexiones pedagógicas sobre la dimensión política en el territorio sociocultural de la escuela. Se basa en los avances del macro-proyecto: Redescubrir la escuela (2009), dirigido por el grupo de investigación Argonautas del Instituto de Educación a Distancia IDEAD, Universidad del Tolima, cuyo principal objetivo es influir en la renovación de las prácticas de enseñanza en la región, a través del proceso de investigación formativa, desarrollada con co-investigadores inscritos en el programa: Educación Básica con énfasis en Lengua Castellana, desde el primer hasta el décimo semestre. El contenido corresponde al estudio sobre la dimensión política, los manuales de convivencia y el retorno a la educación en valores, incluyendo los avances extraídos del macro-proyecto mencionado. De este modo, el primer capítulo expone la metodología, el segundo capítulo presenta la dimensión política en su relación con la escuela; el tercer capítulo estudia los manuales de convivencia; y el cuarto capítulo invita a una educación en valores. El lector puede encontrar conexiones entre los registros de la investigación, las perspectivas de la autora, y los aportes teóricos. Los resultados muestran que es necesario cambiar la forma en que las instituciones educativas públicas de esta ciudad, están utilizando los manuales de convivencia; ya que son muy pocos los que comprenden su verdadera importancia. Por otra parte, muchos de los problemas de comunicación y convivencia que perjudican el desarrollo del hábitat de la escuela, crecen cada día. Por lo tanto cobra importancia la educación en ciudadanía y valores.	spa
dc.description.abstract	ABSTRACT. This monograph proposes some pedagogical reflections on the political dimension in sociocultural territory of the school. It is based on advances of macro-project: Rediscover the school (2009), led by the Argonauts research group of the Institute of Distance Education IDEAD, University of Tolima, whose main objective is to influence the renewal of teaching practices in the region, through the formative research process developed with co-researchers registered in the program: Basic Education with emphasis in Spanish Language, since first until the tenth semester. The content corresponds to the study of political dimension, manuals coexistence and return to values education, including advances extracted macro-mentioned project. Thus, the first chapter exposes the methodology, the second chapter presents the political dimension in their relationship with the school; the third chapter studies the coexistence manuals; and the fourth chapter invites to a values education. The reader can find connections between research records, prospects of the author, and theoretical framework. The results show that it is necessary to change the way that public educational institutions of this city are using coexistence manuals; because very few understand its true importance. Moreover, many of the problems of communication that hurt school habitat development grow every day. Therefore, becomes important the citizenship education.	spa
