| dc.description.abstract | Este documento muestra los resultados del estudio que se adelantó, para develar el impacto de la reforma escolar liberal: Decreto Orgánico de Instrucción Pública (DOIP), en el ámbito social y político del contexto colombiano entre los años 1870 y 1876; a través del análisis del corpus documental de las investigaciones que han analizado el DOIP. Así como también caracterizar el estatus ciudadano y, por ende, el carácter de la democracia que pretendían generar en Colombia las élites políticas, a través del sistema escolar. Para ello la presente monografía hace un análisis de la historiografía que aborda la educación colombiana en la primera mitad del siglo XIX, desde la época de la Independencia hasta la constitución política de Rionegro (año de 1863), puntualizando en los propósitos que pretendían alcanzar las mismas reformas educativas en los contextos particulares del país en dicho siglo. Al igual, se puntualiza en los retos socio-culturales y productivos que afrontaba la reforma educativa liberal Decreto Orgánico de Instrucción Pública (1870), de cara a las pretensiones liberales en torno a esta reforma. En la monografía se precisan los aspectos históricos que llevaron al fracaso de la reforma liberal (Decreto Orgánico de Instrucción Pública). Análisis en el que denota que el conflicto en torno a la cuestión religiosa y el carácter asumido por el sistema de instrucción pública, generó una amplia discusión política en torno a la educación, sus valores, sus responsables y sobre las ciudadanías que debía generar frente a los retos que tenía el país. Este aspecto obligó a las élites políticas colombianas a concebir modelos educativos, de acuerdo a sus concepciones culturales y los modelos de Desarrollo que concebían para la Nación. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This document shows the results of the study that was carried out to reveal the impact of the liberal school reform: Organic Decree of Public Instruction (DOIP), in the social and political sphere of the Colombian context between the years 1870 and 1876; through the analysis of the documentary corpus of the investigations that have analyzed the DOIP. As well as characterizing the citizen status and, therefore, the character of democracy that political elites seek to generate in Colombia, through the school system. To do this, this monograph analyzes the historiography that addresses Colombian education in the first half of the 19th century, from the Independence years to the political constitution of Rionegro (year of 1863), pointing out the moments they seek to achieve the same educational reforms in the particular contexts of the country in that century. Likewise, it highlights the socio-cultural and productive challenges faced by the liberal educational reform Organic Decree of Public Instruction (1870), facing the liberal claims surrounding this reform. The monograph specifies the historical aspects that conducted the failure of the liberal reform (Organic Decree of Public Instruction). Analysis in which it denotes that the conflict around the religious question and the character assumed by the public education system, generates a broad political discussion on education, its values, those responsible and on the citizenships that are generated in the face of challenges that the country had. This aspect forces Colombian political elites to conceive educational models, according to their cultural conceptions and the Development models that they conceive for the Nation. | spa |
