dc.description.abstractEn esta investigación se identificaron los agentes de riesgo que contribuyen a generar enfermedades respiratorias en el personal de enfermería del área de urgencias del Hospital Cardiovascular de Soacha. Gracias al trabajo de campo realizado con el personal de enfermería que trabaja en esta institución y a la posterior aplicación de una encuesta digital a quienes de manera voluntaria decidieron participar, se logró abordar a 14 personas entre jefes y auxiliares de enfermería que representan el 50% de los 28 trabajadores que pertenecen a este servicio, teniendo un enfoque cuantitativo y un método descriptivo que nos permitió realizar el análisis e interpretación de los resultados Uno de los más variables más destacadas es el género femenino, que es el predominante, llegando al 92,9% del total de colaboradores, al ser consultados sobre las patologías a las cuales tienen mayor exposición, refirieron que las respiratorias son las más frecuentes con un 86%, en cuanto al esquema de vacunación de influenza solo un 14,3% refiere tenerlo actualizado y los síntomas que han presentado con mayor frecuencia son: tos persistente, secreción nasal y expectoración con un 53.8%, lo cual se relaciona al contacto estrecho durante la atención a pacientes. Esta información nos permite identificar la necesidad de replantear medidas de prevención de la enfermedad de los colaboradores, actualizando los esquemas de vacunación, y, acciones de promoción de la salud como sensibilización en la importancia del adecuado uso de los EPP; igualmente garantizar puntos estratégicos para lavado y sanitización de manos de pacientes y funcionarios, y el diseño e implementación del Sistema de Vigilancia Epidemiológica para riesgo biológico, que permite identificar de manera precoz la enfermedad y mantener controlados a los ya sintomáticos.spa
dc.description.abstractIn this research, the risk agents that contribute to generating respiratory diseases in the nursing staff of the emergency area of the Cardiovascular Hospital of Soacha were identified. Thanks to the field work carried out with the nursing staff who work in this institution and the subsequent application of a digital survey to those who voluntarily decided to participate, it was possible to approach 14 people, including nursing managers and assistants, representing 50% of the 28 workers who belong to this service, having a quantitative approach and a descriptive method that allowed us to carry out the analysis and interpretation of the results One of the most notable variables is the female gender, which is the predominant one, reaching 92.9% of the total collaborators. When asked about the pathologies to which they have greater exposure, they reported that respiratory diseases are the most frequent with 86%, regarding the influenza vaccination schedule, only 14.3% report having it updated and the symptoms that have been presented most frequently are: persistent cough, nasal discharge and expectoration with 53.8%, which is related to contact narrow during patient care. This information allows us to identify the need to rethink disease prevention measures for collaborators, updating vaccination schedules, and health promotion actions such as raising awareness of the importance of proper use of PPE; Likewise, guarantee strategic points for washing and sanitizing the hands of patients and officials, and the design and implementation of the Epidemiological Surveillance System for biological risk, which allows for early identification of the disease and keeping those who are already sick under control.
