Ephemeroptera nymphs are one of the major components of invertebrate fauna that inhabit a wide variety of lotic and lentic ecosystems. It’s marked diversity, abundance, and the easy and inexpensive results of its sampling along with the varied ranges of tolerance to pollution positions them as an important group for environmental studies. During periods of high and low rains along four seasons in the ravine the collection was carried out with quantitative methods: Red Surber and Sieve Game, as qualitative: Red Screen; The organisms were deposited in plastic flasks with 70% Alcohol, parallel to this were taken in situ data on the characteristics of the stream (Velocity, Temperature, Width, Depth) and water samples for the analysis of the bacteriological and physicochemical parameters evaluated by the LASEREX laboratory of the University of Tolima. A total of 3177 organisms belonging to five families were collected, of which Leptohyphidae had the highest relative abundance of organisms compared to Polymitarcydae, which showed the lowest value of abundance. Seventeen genera were recorded, Tricorythodes being the most abundant, followed by Thraulodes, whereas Varipes and Cercobrachys were less abundant. Spatially the second station had the highest relative abundance with the presence of genera belonging to the leptohyphidae family, compared to the first season; temporarily the third sampling reflected a high value of abundance compared to the low value presented by the first sampling. The analysis of canonical correspondence allowed to visualize that the genres closest to the stations and physicochemical variables are influenced by the conditions of the zone, the preference of substrates and their ecological requirements.
